Welcome to my blog!
I have been running pretty much all my life. From the age of 6 to 15 I competed a lot in cross country and, track and field but unfortunately the pressure so young meant I slowly left the sport. As I got older and went off to Manchester Metropolitan university to become a Physiotherapist I completely stopped running all together. Following a year travelling the world I came back with a new view on the world and how running can offer you so much more than just racing. I entered my first marathon with some gentle persuasion from my brother in 2012, and since I have completed many more road marathons, ultra marathons, triathlons and too many fell races to remember. The balance of racing and a love for the outdoors has to be carefully balanced.
I do love running….it is what I do and the more I do the bigger the challenges I want to achieve.
I feel privileged to be in a position that I can combine the 2 things I love the most, Physiotherapy and Running and endeavor to help others keep at what they love the most too!
