Here are a few highlights from an epic week away in Norway with John being looked after by Dan and Charlotta. We Didn’t get off to the best start after Manchester airport ran out of deicer and left us stranded on a plane for 6 hours with 6 sandwiches to share among the flight!! A day later though we finally made it to Oslo and got to spend a night in a simply stunning hotel (The Grand Hotel) before getting the scenic train up to Åndalsnes which I believe is the train used in the film for Harry Potter before Dan picked us up to take us to Ålesund.

We had an awesome week of adventure despite injuring my knee on the first day ski touring. Since I have discovered I have bruised my tibia which is currently causing me no end of frustration. Despite the injury the holiday was adapted to enable me to still get out and do some activities that required less moving! I was truly looked after and supported by great friends and despite all had a simply amazing week!
